He is married to Jenny and they have two children, Ayden and Addison. When not performing his ministerial duties, Pastor Hackbarth enjoys spending time with family and friends, and taking in local events and activities. He can also be found participating in a variety of sports, including basketball, tennis, and volleyball. He has coached various levels of basketball, tennis, and soccer.
